*HOMEMADE DEPILATORY*

For K.R. with ingrown chin hair problem: Try a homemade depilatory.
You have the ingrown hair problem for awhile, but after sugaring it a
couple times the hair gets thinner and thinner till it may just not grow
at all. Here's the recipe:

Cornstarch
Juice of one lemon
1 c. sugar
1/4-c. honey

Dust the area you intend to remove hair with cornstarch first. Mix
rest of ingredients, and microwave it for 2 min., stir and microwave
mix for another 20 to 30 seconds. Let it cool until it is warm. Spread
a thin strip of mixture onto area, use a popsicle stick or tongue
depressor to apply mixture. Cover sugar mixture with a strip of cotton
fabric. Rub the strip 3 times in the direction of hair growth; then (very
important) pull skin taut the top or bottom of strip...doesn't seem to
matter which end just that the skin is taut. Pull quickly. You have
to reheat the mixture occasionally (about 23 seconds.) in the microwave.
